Los Angeles, Cal., November 14, 1910. 325 West Adams Street. Dear Mr. Calkins:- Many thanks for your kind letter of the twelvth with its good wishes and repeated invitation to your hospitable orange grove home. I am, as you guessed, with Mr. J. D. Hooker and I expect to leave in about a week after finishing another volume; to take up next a book on "Yosemite and Other Yosemites," which ought to have been written years ago. I hope I may be able to get this off next spring or summer. Faithfully yours, John Muir09211
