Home May 29, 1909Darling Helen:I'm glad you are taking care of yourself these howling days. It has been very windy here also. I received & forwarded the Marcello deed to Mr George but he says there was another deed for Mr Talken which was to have been made about the same time & which has not been received Do you remember anything about Perhaps it was sent to you. I sent the check wanted by Mr Van Dyke in registered letter I suppose you have received it ere this.The roses are past prime but the jasmine is just beginning to bloom & the cal[illegible]on & Romneys is in full glory making a wonderful show I saw Keith yesterday, he is looking better & made kind inquiries about you All well here, kindest regards to allEver your devoted father John Muir
