[1]California Hospital, Los Angeles-Friday, April 2- '09.Dear Papa - I have just had my dinner & am feeling fine. Yesterday afternoon I went out into the garden in a wheeled chair for about half an hour & enjoyed it. This morning I was out again & didnt feel nearly so tired. My temperature was perfectly normal when I came to bed gain. It is very warm here - almost like summer. Mrs [Tunk?] writes that it is hot at Daggett, & that everyone is getting well.Carrie Owen comes to see me every other day & brings me violets. I am to be moved into another room today- it has 04468
