106 Martinez, Nov. 16, 1909Dear Johnson:Here are clippins which show the wild political storm here & phases of the H Hetchy scheme. Please return them when done with them. We have our pamphlet ready for the fight in congress & will soon send you a lot. Am glad the President & Secretary Ballinger understand the water scheme Had a fine telling time with them. Have been laid up with a severe grippe cold which has prevented writing you earlier. Hope you are well. The H. Hetchy sky now seems brighter.Ever faithfully yoursJohn Muir
