Home, March 10, 1909.Darling Helen: I hope to hear from you today. Yesterday I sent a goldberg box which I hope you will enjoy. I got home Sunday morning, the ground is drying at last & the country looks green & flowery Peach in bloom & the Calandrinia etc.I saw Wanda at the hospital Monday. She seems happy & comfortable, & hopeful. Send that deed as soon as possible - the buyer is very anxious to get it.Fondly hoping the cold you have many not prove serious I am ever your devoted father & friendJohn Muir
