fight is in defense of Hetch Hetchy Valley against several San Francisco people who are trying to make it a water tank for the use of the City. The fight will go on in the next session of Congress I hope you can help in saving this Tuolumne Yosemite one of the grandest & most useful features of the Park & belonging to the whole Nation. My trip with President Taft was altogether delightful. He was most appreciative & enthusiastic especially in Yosemite & the groves of the Mariposa Sequoias & while riding through the glorious sugar pine & silver fir forests. Doubtless he will prove a faithful wholesouled friend in every way of this greatest of all our mountain parks. I have nothing available as illustrations but will try to get some for you from Congressman Englebright, who made a good many Kodak pictures Ever faithfully yours John Muir
