Muir reunion by Christmas time - I fear that cannot be now, even if it were convenient for you people in the Valley, for just as I was beginning to fear that we could not get there this coming winter I rec'd a letter from brother Dan saying it would hardly suit him to before next June - So if it pleases you we will [illegible] to hope that we way get together another year -I see by the papers that you have been introducing president Taft to the beauties of Yosemite - So this, no doubt, was one of the interruptions to which you referred in your letter of a few weeks ago -We have just been re reading your description of Hetch Hetchy Valley, and it is a delight - How I wish it might sometime be possible for us to see these wonderful places.I will not take any more of your time for the present but will hope some day to see your dear face again -Very affectionatelyJoanna M.
