Have had a pleasant time, gained in health & spunk & feel much better from change of food exercise etc. Have seen the Calkins & arrived at amicable understanding all round. Mrs C is not yet quite well Mr C. has gone into real estate but hopes soon to sell his house, go back into the foothills & buy a patch of oranges & live in better climate, where he will be glad to help in literary work by & by. Stayed last night at Lukens Vroman took me to Los Angeles.. saw Hookers & Lummis etc.Yesterday went to Venice Rod[illegible]
