Transcription

Martinez, June 19, 1909Dear Mr Anderson:I fully intended to be with you for a few days this week but no fewer than fifteen visitors & bother with a note & a deed shoved all my plans agley. Next Monday or Tuesday I have to visit Helen at Daggett & on my return if nothing confounding gets in the way I'll see you before I go to the mountains & hope to get you to go with me. How good it will be to breath & dream beneath a sugar pine treeEver faithfully yoursJohn Muir
