Home Monday Aug. 16, 1909Darling Helen: I got home yesterday morning, feeling glad you were so well & happy. No doubt you received the last box of peaches, the last of your own for the season I fear, unless I can get a boxful from the tree by the wood house. Wanda & babes all thrivingTell the judge that the fine flowering bush is the "Desert Willow" Chilopsis limearis order Bignoniace[illegible]. Most at home in Mexico- seldom found so far North.Be careful to keep in shade in the hottest days, & let me know everything you want. Your ever loving father John Muir
