Mojave with Tom and Mary, and Mrs Funk and I reached Daggett safely on No. 8 this afternoon. I did enjoy the glorious stretch of desert between Barstow and Mojave - I was glad, as I rode along on No. 3 yesterday that I wasnt going to leave my desert - as Mary was. That shows what a hold it has on me.Inclosed are two things Mr John Van Dyke asked me to send to you as he did not know where you were now.The Goldberg Box was all right.
