Daggett, Cal. TuesdayDear Papa -I received your letter saying you had seen the Burroughs party off. I think your letter with the money order is at the Daggett post office now for I received a notice yesterday of a registered letter.I am feeling fine & am steadily gaining. The weather keeps nice & warm - had one sand storm this last week, but that does me no harm. I am beginning to take short rides again & my horse behaves all right & [also?] shows plainly that he likes me better than Buel. How long do you expect to stay up there? I have signed the deed & sent it to San "Berdoo" so you will get it soon.Dont worry about me. Write often.LovinglyHelen04288
