I help Mary a little with the cooking, and she sweeps my shanty for me, and the keeping of it in order is very easy. So we dont miss Miss Brodt. I got a nice040822letter from her yesterday telling of her safe arrival in Berkeley. She also wrote to Mr Van Dyke thanking him for his kindness to her.I got my money order cashed yesterday and will settle up with Mr Van Dyke today.How are you? I do hope you're not living up there all alone on bread and tea. May wrote to me a few days ago and said she wished you could come there to eat oftener,04082
