Martinez, Feb. 18, 1908.Dear brother Dave.I suppose you have heard from Brad Brown I gave him your address a week or two ago, when he was at Riverside. He hopes to visit you & talk over very old times. Here is a letter just received from another old friend. You had better write to him. The Mohave desert seems to agree with Helen, She is much better & may be quite well in a year or two if careful & fortunate. Everybody here are pretty well but me. I'm about dead with care & Grippe. You must have enjoyed some good wave plashing this stormy winter along your grim roaring coastEver faithfully you brother JM04069
