Navy, the arctic explorer and President of the International Polar Commission, in case his ship should be detailed to American ports. Mr. Bryant, under pressure of time, sent out a communication on behalf of the Club to the Italian minister at Washington, to second a request from other sources that Capt. Cagni might be so detailed.
It would appear from the press reports from Rome that Italian warships are to visit the United States in November, and presumably Cagni will command one of these.
Is it not then desirable for the Executive Board to take some action in the matter at the earliest possible date?
So far as I know the officers of the Club here in the East favor such a
