Home, Apr. 17, 1908Darling Helen:Tom returned from Berkeley this morning. He says Wanda feels better than at any time since the baby's birth, & will probably visit you in about 2 weeks I think she ought to make you a very long visit for her health. Of course nothing has been done on the House trade. The Sec. of the Interior has at last decided the Hetch Hetchy question, & we have won the long-fought battle. Manson's trip was all in vain. He was told the case was closed & was refused by Garfield. HurrahThe garden is lovely - & I feel ever so much better If you will only keep well I'll be able to do something - am at work on Stickin[e?]-JM.
