Daggett, Cal. July 18 - 08Dear PapaAll goes well here and I am feeling fine - happy as ever. It is not quite so hot today but still I am about the only one who feels comfortable. A few days ago we had a tiny thunder sprinkle - the thunder was grand but there wasnt enough rain to show on the sand. My two cats are well and have lots of fun playing together.I saw about that poor girl who fell and lost her life. Did you know her? There was only a short piece in the Times about it.I look for another letter from you this afternoon.Always lovingly yoursHelen04244
