[2]candy and mine are especially so. Many thanks. The children are happy because of a two weeks vacation. Kenneth has been getting me some wood and he and uncle David have been doing some famous fishing. We have not had our vacation picnic yet for I have been having a little grippe and so could not go with them and it would not be a picnic unless Mama went unless perhaps Miss Thayer was here to go with them.I hope by this aunt Maggie is some better. We think of her every day and hope for good news when a letter comes.Again wishing you and yours a happy New Year, I amAffectionately, your niece,Anna Galloway Eastman.
