Garfield,Secretary of the Interior,Washington, D. C.Sir:The undersigned is the Chief Engineer and Manager of the Sierra Ditch and Water Company, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of California, for the purpose of storing, distributing and selling waters for irrigation and other public purposes.This company has certain reservoir claims and rights within the watershed of the Cherry-Eleanor Fork of the Tuolumne River; applications for the approval of the maps representing rights-of-way for which are now within the Department of the Interior awaiting your action.The undersigned is duly authorized to speak for and represent the Sierra Ditch and Water Company in the matter whereof this communications treats. I respectfully call your attention to the enclosed copies of communications of the 3rd inst. from myself to the Directors of the Turlock and the Modesto Irrigation Districts, Stanislaus County California, relative to the utilization of flood waters to be stored by us in the reservoirs for which we have applications on file as aboveYou will note that we offer to supply the said irrigation01435
