[in margin: 271][2]the original of this is done in India ink, and is in my husband's library, while this one is a photograph, from the India ink one = it re-calls many happy hours spent with you, and the delightful trip we made together_We enjoyed the resume [diacritic] of your Forestry Commission work, and how interesting to go from one to another of Nature's grand creations and as you used to say, how beautiful the world is! Those redwoods, I wish I might see them, and I am ambitious enough to hope I some day to see that Grand Colorado Canon [diacritic] with you, and the Yosemite too!
