08540[letterhead]ADAMANA, ARIZ., Sunday 13th 1906Dear Papa-Its a fine bright day and Helen has just come in from a drive to the forest. She seems perfectly well and in the best spirits. Every thing is quite green and pretty here now and there are some big yellow Mariposa lilies in bloom. I didn't know anything so pretty grew here.There have been a good many tourists and the Stevensons are feeling prosperous enough so that they have just invested in a camera for Virginia, and are talking about planting a lawn, though as yet there are the usual tin cans and the grubs much the sameI enclose a letter from the Santa Fe people who want to know about the Blue Forest, you better let them know as soon as possible for the more tourists the better we fare and the better it is for everyone Write and let us know what you are doing and how everything is in the
