Martinez, May 20/06 Dear Gilder:We were hurt but little by the earthquake--chimnies shaken down etc--& my studies of the wonderful of coal period forests of Sigellaria, Lepidodendron, Lepidophloms, Dadoxylon Tree ferns etc, have not been interrupted in the leastMy daughter Helen is much better & we hope to bring her back soon to the California home ranch.
