Martinez, Feb. 24, 1897My dear Johnson,I remember Mrs Osborn very well & admire her & will be glad to do all I can for her not only for your sake & hers but my own. Both the days you gave me at Garrisons were memorable & delightful everyway. No doubt you have my letter telling the miserable outcome of our Yosemite business. But those magnificent forest reservations thirteen of them will go far to make us happy again. Sargent sent me a copy of the report & I am watching Washington eagerly A last grand chance for Grovers glory which should console him for Arbatration failure.Ever yours faithfullyJohn Muir10023
