Martinez, March 13, 1907Dear Doctor Merriam.Hurra for the glorious lot of Paleobotany, almost a library in itself. What a time I'll have in it. These old plants bid fair to devour all the balance of my life. I had another box full from Paris the other day --Brongniart & Schimper. Are you coming west as usual this summer? I hope you all will and come direct to our house and make Helen and I less lonesome. Many thanks dear Doctor and best wishes fromYours faithfullyJOHN MUIR03848
