September 28, 1907.Mr. John Muir,President Sierra Club, 2901 Channing Way, Berkeley, California.Sir:I am in receipt of the Resolution adopted by the directors of the Sierra Club, protesting against the use of the Hetch Hetchy Valley, in the Yosemite National Park, as a reservoir site, and praying that the application of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in the matter, be denied, and in response thereto, I have to state, that the protest will receive due consideration.Very respeotfully,[illegible]Acting Secretary.C.C.P & R.03932C.C.P & R.
