[First draft of letter, in note-book]Martinez, Mar. 2, '05. Dear Miss Worstell: I am sorry I can't send you the photo you want for your K[ern] R[iver] lecture; because it is copyrighted by Hugh S. Gibson of Los Angeles, but I think you will have no difficulty in obtaining one direct from Mr. G[ibson]. I have forgotten his address, but a letter sent care Chas. F. Lummis, Out West Co., Los Angeles, Cal. would reach him. with best wishes and pleasant K[ern] R[iver] memories, I am, [John Muir] P.S. The tree I am standing by is not a pine, it is a libocedrus.
