U S Geological Survey, Mr. F[illegible] Board, General Land Office, and myself have been commissioned to [consider?] the matter of reviewing the boundaries of the Yosemite National Park and we are now in the Park in t[illegible] [illegible]ty. We are particularly desirious of having an interview with you, as representing the b[illegible] s[illegible] for the maintenance of the Park. We expect to be in San Francisco most of the [month?] beginning July 10th and hope that you may find it convenient to be in town sometime during that period. We shall be at the Palace Hotel. In case you [illegible] [illegible] we will try to visit you at Martinez, if agreeable; but our time is so occupied [that this?] will be difficult.
