1In the invisible world about us are the great powers and forces which uphold and move the world which we see. Of the two worlds the invisible is the older and the greater. We came from the unseen realm, we return to it. We think it is even more hospitable country than this sunny world in which we now live. Many of us, perhaps all of us, have friends in the unseen land. One of us after another fades out of the Visible into the Invisible. We ought not to deplore this too much, especially if we have faith in the goodness of God. Janet Moores, among others whom we have known has made the great experiment. In her case there surely was a blessed relief from hard condition. We speak no more of shadows which may have dimmed for a time her happy disposition.035502These altogether passed away. The cheer of the Morning Land banishes fear and all misapprehension. Chief in that happy country is one who bore a crown of thorns and who was kissed and jeered by foolish and ignorant men. Surely He will give a very hospitable welcome to all who have suffered much. Janet was most loved by those who knew her most intimately. Her mind turned easily to the beautiful story of Christ. She became conciously a follower of His and united with the Church at eleven years of age. Her life was a token that this profession was not formal and superficial. It would be superfluous for me to say to you, who have known her all her life, much concerning her daily life.03550
