I had to come to the desolate home here for a few days on business. I go back to Adamana, Arizona, where Wanda & Helen are, tomorrow.I suppose Helen will have to remain in Arizona for a year or more, with Wanda & I to watch her. We are glad to hear that you & Maggie are so well after your return to Dunbar. Our Maggie & Sarah & David & indeed all the family as far as I know are about as usual. Sarah is now living at Santa Cruz with her daughter Anna & is better than for a long time. Remember me to Maggie, Susan Gilroy Jane Mather & other friends & you.Know I am ever affectionately your Cousin John Muir
