For your letter of the 11th inst. is the fist I have received from you since I got home from my big ramble.Now that the fine avenue house is sold you must all come to California as soon as you can, build your next home here & be my neighbor. Then we can grow old or young handsomely together. The High Sierra will be our glorious back yard, the Pacific our pond where we can sail when we like-, to Alaska
