Palm Springs, June 10th[in margin: [1905]thanking me for sending them [illegible]]Dear Mr. Lukins -[in margin: Palm Springs]We arrived at Palm Springs last evening and were grately surprised to find Helen here. She was glad to see us as I think she was feeling very lonely and we are all glad to have her here. It is a charming place, a true oasis in the desert like a Garden of Eden in the Sahara. We are delighted with the air and with the charming Doctor and Mrs Murry. We are already "stuck together" as the Scotch say. You made no mistake in directing us here for a first camp and we feel truly grateful. With kindest regards to Mrs.
