[letterhead]May 26, 1899My dear SellersGoodbye, I am off for Alaska on the Harriman Expedition to be gone two months or more.It goes to Prince Williams Sound Cook's Inlet & Kodiak. The only part of the coast I have not seen [illegible] I was very glad of the opportunity though I am busy writing.I need a rest anyhow. I [illegible] so do you.
