Martinez CaliforniaDec. 9. 1898My dear cousin,Your letter came just as I got home from my long rambles through the eastern forests & I was delighted to hear from your & get the Dunbar news. You must have had a good rest about Edinburgh & a pleasant change It is all so beautiful there. I would have enjoyed the grand roaring storm you mention among the Dunbar rocks if it were not so far how often I would be there. Our lives are too short to see much as compared with the infinite riches God displays in this big world Nevertheless we may well be thankful for what we are allowed to see & enjoy. I'm glad to hear that Bonnie Dunbar is growing02514
