This will be the solution of all forest troubles.When is your Star book coming out[2]been left for although the book as it is, is full of the truest & hardest science the ordinary reader will not be able to see it. The few notices I have seen show this, but the few working scientists will not fail to see that the book is full of science especially of geology however covered & smothered with brush & bloom. Sometime I mean to write a hard geolical [sic] book. In the meantime I am writing a little book on Yosemities that will answer for a guide book. & I have a half dozen others in mind--letters, adventures, etc. The Century Co. will of course
