[4]banging away on the railroad cut, we went up there Sunday and found a lot of fossil shells, there was one flat-rock about three feet square that was just covered with different kinds of sheels and Helen was very much pleased to find a petrified worm.We have just received a letter from a lady who wants you to give a series of lectures before her club and another from a young newspaper woman who wants you to tell her how the clam shells that were found in the tunnel manage to get there, she said that she "was going to write them up and that as you were the greatest authority, she would like to get your views5so you see it is rather unfortunate sometimes that you are so fameous.Your letter from Rome, Ga. has just come, how I wish that I could be with you in the beautiful woods that you tell us about. Helen says that she would like very much to see the funny little negro children.I hope that you will come home pretty soon for it is lonesome here with out you.Lovingly your daughterWanda Muir09158
