Prof. John Muir. Page 2. find a healthier spot anywhere. I was very sorry that you came back through Kodiak v/hen I was away for I should have been glad to see you all again and hear of your experiences to the "Westward." I hope that they proved as enjoyable as the former parts of your trip. I was down in one of the numerous bays near here with a crowd of haymakers. I have spent almost all the vacation out in the open and have enjoyed it wonderfully.I shall be very glad to be remembered to any of your party whom you think might care to remember an Alaskan school teacher. I expect to write to Mr. Keeler soon. Again thanking you for your great kindness, I amVery sincerely yours, R. G. Slifer. 02620
