[letterhead]rhododendron about 5 ft high when in flower must make a glorious show. Around the base of the rhododendron [clumps?] there is a rich bossy growth of Leiophyllon buxifolia a charming heathwort. The temp. is distinctly Alpine & for the first time since leaving home feel like my old self I can now walk ten miles without great weariness. I have been quite miserable but this air has healed me. I trust all goes well at home. I supposed you are writing Care of Johnson & Sargent. Ill probably be in New York by the middle of next month. Then to Sargents again he is going to take me to Hunnewells & I dont know how many other places I hope Maggie is beginning to feel better as the weather cools.Wanda Helen Love to allFrom Your loving husbandJohn Muir02474
