(Letter of Sept. 13th, 1863) N.B. Feb. 5th, 1864 Mr. Muir, Dear Sir: This letter is one in answer to the one you wrote me in August last. I directed it to Ann Arbor Michigan. You not being there to receive it, it was sent to Washington, and from there sent back to me. If you ever receive it please let me hear from you immediately. Truly yours, A.N.
