Dear Miss Kellogg
I suppose you are home from your mountain trip refreshed and inspired.
I saw a notice in a San Francisco paper of Dorothy’s marriage. What now is her address? I want to send her something in memory of our pleasant auto trip to the Grant Forest and San Francisco. I wish you would choose the gift and forward it and I’ll send check for the cost.
Ever yours faithfully with all good wishes John Muir
