As to the offers of $1100 for Lot 3 Block J and $600 for lot back of Quill’s I think they are both too low. Therefore, don’t accept at present or at least until you receive further instructions. As to the fire Company since according to your estimate we have sold a lot worth $225.00 for $100 we have done enough under present circumstances. I’ll let you know how Mr Petersen’s acct stands as soon as I get home which I hope will be within a few weeks. Helen is getting better and I am with best wishes faithfully yours John Muir
