Martinez, Dec. 15/06 Dear Ina Coolbrith, The spinners are welcome to the use of my Alaska dog story for the good purpose mentioned in your letter, though I suppose the consent of the Century Company will also have to be obtained. I’m sorry your other letter failed to reach me. A good many of my letters have been lost these confused days. Helen is still far from well and I’m so choked with cares I have not been able to write a word for the press for three years or more. Hoping your health is better and that the coming year will bring you many blessings. I am every faithfully yours, John Muir
