[1] Saturday afternoon June 9th /66Dear Dany I have just read your Dutch difficulties and am as pleased at the thought of seeing you so soon as you are [illegible]turbed by the prospect of leaving Buff As for employment here You may come along and begin work in our shop in five minutes afer you step from the cars at $10 or 12 per week and you may remain here winter & summer untill you are gray.In a month or two you will likely be able to get $15 a week I have been working by the piece at plough handles, but have now got a steady job of running the principal circular saw in the shop at $18 per weekIf you arrive upon the night train stop over night at the California House it is but a few steps from the depot - if upon the day train come direct to the Hub & spoke factory and ask for John Muir. our factory is about two minutes walk from the depot directly southAff' your brother John
