Dear Mr. Johnson:-In accordance with your telegram we have sent you today by nail about 100 illustrated pamphlets of three editions and well illustrated, published in 1908 T 09. We have also sent about one dozen copies of the new circular and tomorrow we will send you 100 slightly changed, from a new lot of 5000 that are about to be delivered. Of course we can send you as many more as you wish. We are also keeping list of newspapers on our side and will send you copies of them. We are bracing up Smoot in every way we can. We are glad to hear that Herbert Parsons is to appear for us at Senate Hearing Friday. Will also try to get the information you desire as to the number of water power sites in Sections 16 and 36 which went to California and sold under state law. Glad to hear that Watrous is back.If you can go on to Washington at any critical time, we will allbe gratefully obliged to you and so will all the world. Yourexpenses of course will be paid. Should the Bill be held upuntil the next regular session, we will be ready with another newcondensed pamphlet which we are already at work upon. It is agreat comfort to us all that you have been able to lead the fightin the East. Don't know how we could possibly have conducted awinding battle without you.
