[1]Dear Mr Muir,I cannot tell you how much I appreciated seeing you in S.F.- and the memory of our little visit and delightful lunch has lingered with us into these lonly woods. we are perfectly delighted with Arbolado - the stage ride is very fine. there are lovely waterfalls to visit and new trails awaiting us each day, treats seem inexhuastible The delightful party we formed here is breaking up now I'm sorry to say. several friends of Mrs Hookers: Eellie - but Miss Roberts still remains.The table is splendid and we long to have you here and fill out those cheeks. If the Parsons come home do turn over Hetch-Hetchy to them or Mr Colby and come over for a trail for the sake of Auld lang syne!Miss Heal is reveling in your Mountains of California and feels as though she was communing with your woods spirit every day05506
