RolfeSIERRA CLUB402 MILLS BUILDINGSan Francisco, Cal.San Francisco, Sept.12, 1913.Darling Helen:-Am sorry to hear of your bad luck in your cabin fire. You will have to be more careful next time. As for Tom's deal hanging fire, that is nothing new, but it will be all right in the end no doubt, or I will see that it is made all right.Delighted that you are so well and the little ones and Buel. The muscat grapes will not be ripe for a week or two, but today I have sent you by express the pineapple that you want, and I think it is a very good one, in fact there are more than one, some of them must be good. I will see that you get plenty of grapes as soon as they are fit to eat.If you have not already written to our state Senators, protesting against the invasion of the Yosemite National Park, I wish you would for we are having a hard fight. Get Buel to write also, and his father, also the old Judge, if he is on our side, and as many others as you can get to do so.Ever your devoted father,
