3I'm trying to get a lot of good photographs for the President & our best fighting Senators & the use of newspapers And Herbert Gleason the lecturer & photographer. a member of the Sierra Club who knows all the Tuolumne region well & indeed all the Sierra & Rocky Mountains & their parks has made a lot of Hetch Hetchy & Tuolumne Canon [diacritic] slides & is going to make more for a Hetch Hetchy lecture which he hopes to deliver in Washington toward the end of next month, and as Tumulty knows him well the President may be induced to attend the lecture & judge the value of the Valley with his own eyes.I enclose Mr Gleason's letter to the PresidentTomorrow or next day after I'll send you $73.07 to balance our acct so far having sent you check for $100.X Sep. 30thYou will find Mrs Osborn a most devout friend of our National Parks & particularly of Hetch Hetchy.
