HILO,HAWAII, T.H. March. 27th /12Dear Muir:Looking over your books ( as I frequently do) I paraphrased you Water Ousel a little, and enclose the result, unpolished, &c. Also the former effusion a little "corrected and amended".I heard you was engaged upon your auto.? is that so. When completed let me know and will send for one.We are well, but dont like the Islands a little bit- too wet & hot. We both long for the genial airs & sunny days of the Golden Stae. May be back next year. How are you. Would be glad to hear from you. Come & see the "Crathur", and incidentally- me, some time.Yors &c.[illegible]05402OS to l-
