[in margin: Charlie Keeler]Sweetbrier Camp,Castella, Shasta County, Cal.August 16th 1903My dear Mr. Muir:What a wanderer you are! I have no idea where to address you, but will send this to Martinez to be forwarded. All the spring I thought of going to see you, and planned for it, but Louise was not very well and I had the misfortune to become entangled in one task after another, that left me no freedom. Then you went off to the Yosemite with the President, and whisk! before I knew what had happened you were started for the ends of the earth! What a royal good time you will have of it, so happily companioned and in such far wildernesses! Our summer has passed quietly enough in this woodland nook beside03291
