Thence probably to Ceylon, & thence -(don't know how) home.I'm so thankful God has let me see His Himalaya, & so soon after it it seemed I would see but little more of anything here or elsewhere in this fine t[illegible]I'll write again before I leave these mountains Wish I could get a letter from you Ever your affectionate husband & fatherJohn Muir032993)Mt Everest & Kinchinjinga where over coats are required & good fires. I'm glorying in the crisp mountain air the first Ive breathed since leaving the Sierra & am regaining the health & flesh & lost in Russia. My appetite is better than it has been for years & I bid fair to grow fat in spite of tropic heat, hotels queer food & a" that. So much for health.
