[1]Berkeley Sunday EveningDear MamaI know I m awful not to have written before, but I really have not had one free minute the whole week. Ive had lots of work to do but have not had time to hurt myself in that direction because of the multitudinous variety of other things that have been going on. Our own party was very nice and in every way a success and I also had a very good time last night at Miss [Heads?], a much better time than I ever had when I lived there. Miss Ra[illegible] was quite amiable & what085542do you think? she is going with the club to Kings River this summer. who would have thunk it! Please send me my Sierra Club balot when it comes as it will have to be returned before I go home. The [illegible] [illegible] circus was yesterday & everybody enjoyed themselves very much indeed. It seemed funny to see strange looking bandits, clowns, acrobats & marvelous balet girls, all of whom nevertheless had a strangely familiar look & who [illegible] in a friendly way when you met them. one of the balet girls forgot that he was not a man when he met us & attempted to take of his hat, but looked08554[3]rather foolish when he found he had on only a curly blond wig and every one laughed Last Wednesday I was on the election comittee for associated students & had an exciting time looking up names & counting balots I m going to have my picture taken tomorrow. I m out of cash again, if you send me about $25 I think it will last till the end of the term I must do a lot of reading yet this evening, so goodnightLovinglyWanda08554
